 CCTV Project (St Albans)

Task:
A medium sized Aged Care facility located in Melbourne's West required internal and external cameras with 60 days of archive recording. In addition, the client required onsite and remote access via a client PC and remote login software. The central server should also have UPS backup for 30 min and failure monitoring​.

​Solution:
Utilising Hanwha Techwin (formerly Samsung) 5MP dome cameras connected to multiple Gigabit POE Switches. A 100TB Dell Power Edge Rack Server runs Milestone Professional Plus to capture and archive 60 plus days of footage. Installed a Dell Optiplex client PC for onsite and remote access via TeamViewer software which monitors the server's health. We installed the equipment in an existing 42 RU Rack with a 2000W battery backup UPS.

Access Control Project (Kensington)

Task:
Upgrade the existing "stans alone" access control keypads to an integrated system with prox cards in an inner-city Aged Care facility. The goal is to improve security for both staff and residents, better control visitor flow, and help with Covid restrictions requirements.

Solution:
An Inner Range Integriti Access Control solution was implemented utilising keypad/prox combo readers to utilise both prox cards and pin codes as required. A combination of door strikes and mag locks were installed with exit buttons where needed. Finally, we integrated the complete system into the fire panel as per building codes.​

Access Control Project (Shepparton)

Task:
Upgrade the existing access control keypads to an integrated system with prox cards. Staff access management was required to gain and restrict access to areas such as drug rooms.

Solution:
We upgraded the access control to a network system that allowed the customer to implement prox cards to individual staff members. Each staff member was then allocated to an appropriate door group as required.​

Nurse Call Project (Moonee Ponds)

Task:
A Nurse Call System that integrated seamlessly with a Wanderer Alert system was required for this Multi-story Moonee Ponds Aged Care Facility. Additionally, reporting and DECT phone messaging was a requirement.

Solution:
We implemented a CareTech Nurse Call System together with a LAS server for Spectralink DECT integration and reporting. With a combination of corridor and LCD monitors together with messaging, the residents call is guaranteed to notify the appropriate staff member. Reporting data has proven invaluable for both care staff and residents.​

Nurse Call Project (Taylors Lakes)

Task:
A Nurse Call System with automated weekly reporting and falls prevention was vital for this Aged Care Facility. 

Solution:
We implemented a CareTech Nurse Call System together with a ​LAS server for automated reporting. With a combination of corridor and LCD monitors together with Overdoor lights and an audible alert, the residents call is guaranteed to be noticed. Falls prevention connects directly to the call point, and wireless options are used when required.

CCTV Upgrade Project (Footscray)

Task:
Due to increased camera numbers and recording requirements, a sizeable Aged Care Facility located in Footscray required an upgrade to their existing underpowered CCTV server.

Solution:
We upgraded the existing (underpowered) server to a 160TB Dell Power Edge Rack Server running Milestone Professional Plus. The upgrade allowed the customer to record 60 plus days of footage utilising the existing cameras and switches.
